The second issue of the San Franciso-based zine created by Vale Hamanaka, who while working at City Lights Bookstore, was given seed money by Allen Ginsberg and Lawrence Ferlinghetti to create his own magazine. The zine, which covered the emerging punk and new wave scene, was named for an Iggy Pop song of the same name and viewed punk as not just a new genre of music but a lifestyle. This issue features interviews with Iggy Pop, Penelope from the Avengers, the Ramones, The Clash, The Dils, Devo, and others.
