Añadir al carritoTaschenbuch. Condición: Neu. Neuware -Genetic variability, correlation, path and D2 analysis in cowpea [Vignaunguiculata (L.) Walp.]was studied in a set of thirty two genotypes of cowpea grown in a randomized block design with three replications during summer - 2015 at Regional Horticultural Research Station, NAU, Navsari. Analysis of variance revealed significant genotypic differences for all the twelve quantitative characters under study. A wide range of variation was apparent for all the characters. The genotypic coefficient ofvariation, heritability and genetic advance were observed highest for the characters viz., number of pods per plant and green pod yield per plant. High heritability (77.44%) coupled with high genetic advance (52.08) observed for green pod yield per plant, very high heritability (94.47%) for plant height at final harvest indicate that phenotypic selection would be effective for genetic improvement in these traits. 152 pp. Englisch.

Añadir al carritoPaperback. Condición: new. Paperback. No matter how meticulously we plan, how closely we follow the rules or even how carefully we tread, eventually change will affect us all. Everything can seem like it is heading in the right direction, when suddenly life unexpectedly throws us a curve ball that stops us dead in our tracks. When it does, all too often we can feel like we have been dealt a bad hand - each step of our lives can prove more of a trial than the last - as if it is God's will. Despite that, it is how we deal with the rules of adversity and change that constitute to the people that we eventually become; after all, it is our desire to succeed. A Passage to India describes some of the most harrowing moments of Vinay Parmar's life. The death of his mother on his wedding day; the torment he and his wife endured while awaiting the birth of their twins, each story as unnerving and heartbreaking as the last. Vinay takes us on a roller coaster ride from his darkest moments to his brightest, as he shares his unique insights and lessons in bounce-back-ability gathered through his remarkable journey. A Passage to India is more than a story of overcoming tragedy - it is a story of hope and possibility, inspired by an extraordinary act of unconditional love. This item is printed on demand.
