Añadir al carritoRevised Draft script for the 1966 British film, copy belonging to Art Director George Provis, with his name written on the top of the title page, and manuscript pencil and marker annotations on nearly every page, with clippings of the shooting schedule and set requirements frequently affixed to the verso of the opposing page, and two pencil illustrations of the house and cottage from the film on the verso of the last page. George Provis was a British Art Director and Production Designer who began his career working on quota quickies (low budget features made to comply with Britain's Cinematograph Films Act of 1927) in the 1930s. After the Second World War, Provis was appointed by British film producer Sydney Box to head the art department at Gainsborough Pictures, and is credited on over 120 films. Michael Parks stars as an arrogant young art student who seduces the overprotective mother of his friend, played by a stunning Jennifer Jones. Shot on location in Middlesex and London. Purple untitled wrappers with a die-cut window in the British style. Title page present, dated 16 July, 1965, noted as Revised Screenplay, with credits for screenwriter Millard Lampell. 117 leaves, with last page of text numbered 109. Mimeograph duplication, rectos only, with blue, pink, and goldenrod revision pages throughout, dated variously between 14 September 1965 and 31 August 1965. Unbound as issued. Taschenbuch. Condición: Neu. This item is printed on demand - it takes 3-4 days longer - Neuware -This interdisciplinary and international book subjects key areas of inclusion in the global knowledge economy to critical scrutiny from queer perspectivism. Drawing on empirical data from diverse international contexts including Chile, Finland, Japan, Malaysia, India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Ghana, Tanzania, South Africa, and the UK, this book examines sites of affective antagonisms, fragility, and friction, and explores whether queer theory can provide alternative readings of contemporary pathways, pedagogical and research cultures, political economies, and policy priorities with higher education. Main themes covered include: The Global Knowledge Economy and Epistemic Injustice Decolonisation Internationalisation Feminist Leadership Affirmative Action Queering the Political Economy of Neoliberalism Digitalisation of academic work Both comparative and illustrative, this key text provides a comparative analysis that recognises epistemic diversity, multiplicity of experiences, and, importantly, the effect of comparative reason in constructing stratified universities' world fields and excluded and marginal academic experiences. It also takes into account the colonial historical entanglements in the ongoing formation and disavowal of the university and academic labour.Queering Higher Education: Troubling Norms in the Global Knowledge Economy is ideal reading for all those interested in queer theory and how it relates to higher education. 204 pp. Englisch.…
