It uses the ancient art of storytelling to impart wisdom about leadership that will both keep you on the edge of your seat and help you remember its key insights. This unique fable captures over 50 years in leadership and management experience from Harold Gallaher.Enter the journey of Mark Trenton who finds himself in a bind. At work, a critical project is in a nosedive, and his rivals are circling. At home, the silence is deafening, and his family feels a million miles away. He's working harder than ever, but only falling further behind.Desperate and out of options, a mysterious gift appears on his desk: a small, wooden chess piece and a cryptic invitation to a park at dusk. There, he meets Silas, a quiet old man whose simple stories hold the key to turning everything around. For anyone feeling lost in the storms of their career, this story is a beacon. It reminds us that the most powerful strategies for leadership and life are deeply human. It reveals that victories at work only matter when they follow us home. This item is printed on demand. Añadir al carritoUnbound. Condición: Near Fine. A collection of seven mechanically reproduced copies of song sheet music, four sepia-toned silver gelatin photographs measuring 8" x 10", and one telegram. Some edgewear else about near fine. A small archive of sheet music and photographs compiled by actress Helen Gallagher. The collection follows Gallagher's late 1940s and early 1950s career with her copies of sheet music from *High Button Shoes,* *They Liked Them Handsome,* *Up in Central Park*, and *Hazel Flagg*. Additionally included are four 8" x 10" photographs, one candid featuring Helen and colleagues at dinner, another showing Helen and castmates on stage posed in costumes. The other two photographs are signed by Helen's co-star, Harold Lang, one picturing him dancing in costume during *Fancy Free* and another is a headshot. His headshot is signed, "To Helen Let's have a longer run next time. Love Harold." Harold and Helen starred together in the Hugh Martin musical *Make a Wish* which ran from April 18, 1951 through July 14, 1951 with a total of 102 performances. A telegram from actress from Kaye Ballard is sent to the two actors to wish them luck for a performance at the Mocambo Nightclub in California. She writes, "my darlings what can I say after I say I'm dying but I know you will really live tonite love, Corpse Kaye Ballard." Helen Gallagher is an Emmy and Tony Award-winning actress who began her stage career in 1944 as an understudy in *Seven Lively Arts*. She then was a member of the chorus in a few productions before being cast as Nancy in *High Button Shoes* in 1949. Her first starring role came in 1953 with the musical *Hazel Flagg*. She would continue performing on Broadway and eventually join the cast of the soap opera *Ryan's Hope* for which she would win three Emmys in 1976, 1977, and 1988. This collection highlights Gallagher's early career on Broadway and her friendships with other actors. A modest but interesting collection of material pertaining to the early career of actress, Helen Gallagher.
