Es geht aber nicht nur um diePluralbildung der nativen Wörter, sondern auch um dieaus fremden Sprachen übernommenen Substantive, beidenen sich besondere Schwierigkeiten innerhalb desdeutschen Pluralsystems ergeben. Ich habe bei derUnterscheidung zwischen produktiven und unproduktivenPluralformen die Hypothese bestätigt, dass dieKlassen der Nomen mit produktiven Pluralformen neueMitglieder bekommen und wenige alte verlieren. ImGegenteil dazu verringert sich die Anzahl der Wörtermit unproduktiven Pluralformen im untersuchtenZeitraum von 1904 bis 2000 zusehends. DieseEntwicklungen und andere Ergebnisse konnte ich anhandder erstellten Datenbank und der Untersuchung derrelevanten Literatur feststellen.
