Im Original unauffindbare Zeitschrift, die in lediglich drei Bänden erschienen ist. Simon, August Heinrich (Pseudonym H. Osmin), 1805-1860, Jurist, Publizist, Unternehmer "studierte als Burschenschaftsmitglied 1824-27 Rechts- und Kameralwissenschaften in Breslau und Berlin. 1827-29 arbeitete er als Gerichtsreferendar in Brandenburg. Da er 1828 bei einem Duell einen Freund erschossen hatte, wurde er im folgenden Jahr zu lebenslanger Haft verurteilt und auf der Festung Glogau inhaftiert. Bereits 1830 amnestiert, war er danach Hilfsarbeiter am Oberlandesgericht und Rechtsanwaltsgehilfe in Breslau, bis er 1834 seine Karriere als Assessor am Kammergericht, seit 1836 am Oberappellationsgericht in Greifswald fortsetzte. In diese Zeit fällt eine Affäre mit seiner Cousine Fanny Lewald.Da er wegen öffentlicher Kritik an der Bedrohung der richterlichen Unabhängigkeit durch Friedrich Wilhelm IV. keinen Urlaub bekam und disziplinarisch verfolgt wurde, schied S. 1845 aus dem Staatsdienst. Von 1845 bis zur Revolution arbeitete S. in Breslau als Publizist, edierte Gesetzes- und Entscheidungssammlungen und schrieb u. a. für Robert Blums Taschenbuch "Vorwärts". 1846 war er Mitgründer eines Arbeitersparvereins und eines politischen Lesezirkels in Breslau. Wegen seiner Schrift "Annehmen oder ablehnen?" (1847), in der er das kgl. Verfassungspatent scharf kritisierte, wurde 1847 ein Verfahren wegen Majestätsbeleidigung gegen S. eröffnet und erst während der Revolution eingestellt." Seine Vereinbarung mit Heinrich von Gagern über Abstimmungen zur Frankfurter Reichsverfassung nennt man den Pakt Simon-Gagern. 1849 war Simon Mitglied der vom Rumpfparlament eingesetzten Exekutive, der provisorischen Reichsregentschaft. Nach der Niederschlagung der Deutschen Revolution von 1848/1849 floh er im Juli des gleichen Jahres in die Schweiz und wurde anschließend in Abwesenheit aufgrund seiner Zugehörigkeit zur Reichsregentschaft wegen Hochverrats zu lebenslangem Zuchthaus verurteilt.…
