Die meisten bleiben ungenannt. Ich möchte allen für ihren Beitrag danken. Beim Sammeln des Materials, wie beim Planen und Entwerfen des Textes, haben…viele Freunde in Israel mitgewirkt. Mina Ben Zvi, Leiterin des Mount Carmel Zentrums in Haifa, hat mich von Anfang an ermutigt und begeistert. Von allen Mitarbeitern des Zentrums erhielt ich bereitwillig die erbetenen Auskünfte. Auch die Verbindung mit Regierungsstellen war reibungslos. Besonderes Interesse zeigte Dr. Shimeon Amir, bis vor kurzem Stellvertretender Generaldirektor im Außenministerium, dessen Vorschläge stets willkommen waren. In Schweden fand ich weitreichende Unterstützung bei der Internationa len Entwicklungsbehörde (SIDA-Swedish International Development Authority) und gleichfalls bei den Frauenorganisationen der Arbeiterbe wegung. Inga Thorsson, Anna Rudling und Etti Widhe sind hier. besonders zu nennen. In London gab Benad Avital, Counsellor an der israelischen Gesandt schaft, nützlichen Rat. Margaret Bruce, Stellvertretender Direktor der UNO Zentralstelle für Sozialentwicklung und Humanitäre Anliegen in New York, die der Abteilung für die Förderung der Gleichberechtigung von Mann und Frau vorsteht, schulde ich Dank für die Erfüllung zahlreicher Bitten um Informationen und Dokumente. Zum Schluß sei noch der Bereitwilligkeit meiner Tochter und ihres Mannes gedacht, von Zeit zu Zeit als Resonanzboden zu dienen. Die englische Ausgabe dieses Buches erschien 1974 bei Blackwell, Oxford. 144 pp. Deutsch.
