Ensemble Fotografien "Problemlösungsauftrag an Künstler - Raumprobleme": 2 Blatt DIN A4 mit Schreibmaschinentext und 2 montierten…Schwarz-Weiss-Fotos, 3 Fotos Installationsprozess sowie zwei Großfotos Schwarz-Weiss, 30,5 x 24,0 cm mit Installationsansicht, entworfen für die Ausstellung "Der Elefenbeinturm". (Alle abgebildet in Kunstforum 51). "Der Elfenbeinturm" war ein 1981 von Brigitte Caster und Barbara Swiezinski ins Leben gerufenes Projekt sowie eine daraus resultiertende Ausstellung unter Beteiligung von Daniel Spoerri und Jochen Gerz sowie weiteren in der Orangerie Kassel vom 24.10. - 22.11.1981. Grundidee war die "Stiftung Elfenbeinturm", in deren Namen am 16.6.1981 ein Brief verfasst wurde, der, verschickt an Künstler, Kuratoren und Literaten dazu einlud, für 5 Jahre in den Elfenbeinturm zu ziehen. Bedingungen wurden nicht gestellt, eingefordert wurden Skizzen, Baubeschreibungen, Einrichtungspläne oder auch Partituren. Die eingehenden Briefe, Entwürfe und auch Arbeiten waren dann konzeptueller Teil der Ausstellung. Im Jahr darauf erschien mit Band 51 im Juli 1982 eine Sondernummer des "Kunstforum" unter dem Titel "Der Elfenbeinturm". Hier wurden neben Briefen und Texten überwiegend Arbeiten und Entwürfe wiedergegeben. Das vorliegende Originalmaterial resultiert sowohl aus Austellung als auch aus dem Material des "Kunstforum". Vorhanden sind jeweils an Brigitte Caster gerichtete Briefe und Manuskripte sowie Arbeiten.
