Zustand: Hervorragend | Sprache: Englisch | Produktart: Bücher | This study investigated the Impact of Rice Production on Revenue Generation and Job Creation in Kaduna state, Nigeria from the period 1980-2016. The idea behind this study is to lend support to Rice production as a means of diversification, Generation and create Job opportunity to the teaming population of Revenue Kaduna state in which Kaduna state has comparative advantage. In the case of Kaduna State, labour is in abundance and this suggests that Rice production will Generate revenue and create jobs. This assertion was tested using the Auto-regressive redistributed Lag (ARDL) . The results revealed that Rainfall, Hectares of land cultivated, fertilizer consumption, credit to farmers, government expenditures determine rice production, increase revenue and reduces the rate of youth unemployment for the period under study. The confirmation of Philips curve hypothesis in the case of Nigeria exist since the rate of inflation reveals a negative correlation. Promoting a peaceful environment through government expenditures and credit facility to farmers are essential ingredients to reduce youth unemployment through Rice production.

This item is printed on demand - it takes 3-4 days longer - Neuware -This book explores the relationships between Company Income Tax (CIT), Institutional Quality (IQ), and the Tax Effort Ratio (TER) and their collective impact on the economic growth of 15 West African countries from 2000 to 2022. It aims to understand how CIT influences economic growth and the moderating role of IQ. CIT, a key source of public revenue, and IQ, which shapes a nation's economic outcomes through its institutions, together with TER, measure taxation relative to economic capacity and provide insights into revenue effectiveness. Using a dynamic panel ARDL model, the study finds that CIT, IQ, inflation, and exchange rates negatively affect GDP, while trade openness positively influences growth. Institutional quality and trade openness further boost growth, while the MG model shows negative impacts of GDP and IQ on TER, with inflation and foreign direct investment having positive effects. The study provides critical recommendations for improving tax policies, institutional reforms, and attracting foreign investments to support sustainable growth. 132 pp. Englisch.
