Añadir al carritoUniform matching hard back binding in leaf green cloth covers, leather and gilt title lettering fob to each front cover. Medium foolscap 22½'' x 17½''. Contains thirty-one full-page photo lithographic plates picturing English and Welsh cathedrals laid down on heavy stock paper, together with plans of the respective buildings drawn to scale (some double-page). A two or three page description with small detailed illustrations of each of the thirty-one cathedrals including the building's history and features of its design (the various authors largely unacknowledged) is accompanied by an elevation and a ground floor plan of the building on a large scale. Old dry white patchy damp stains to surfaces of the boards of volume I not affecting the contents, and marginally to the fore edges of volumes II and III, a little thinning of the paper to the front free end paper of volume III and to the front and rear paste downs of volume II. Heavy volumes weighing 15 kg, extra postage will be requested over and above our default setting, we regret these cumbersome volumes cannot be despatched to destinations outside of the UK.
