Paperback. Condición: new. Paperback. Although special relativity, wrapped in complex and even cumbersome mathematical equations, may seem daunting to outsiders, its basic content is quite simple: two postulates; the Lorentz Transformation (derived mathematically from above two postulates); and the spacetime effects (derived mat…hematically from above Lorentz Transformation. This book aims to thoroughly dissect the above three basic elements of special relativity, with emphasis on the two basic postulates, which make special relativity a physics instead of math. One of the postulates of Special Relativity doesn't hold up because it says a certain object like photon has a fixed, absolute speed, but speed is always relative. Any object-an astronaut in a spaceship or a body in a morgue-can have different speeds depending on what you measure it against. For example, a photon's speed is usually about 300,000 kilometers per second, but it could be zero if you measure it relative to another photon moving alongside it. The postulate of the constancy of the speed of light is often said to be proven by numerous physical experiments, but this is a serious misconception. First, It is impossible that a claim that goes against basic logic can be proven by any physical experiment. Second, even if it were somehow "proven," it would still be a huge joke, as it contradicts the fundamental logic of the postulate. A theoretical postulate is meant to prove other things and cannot itself be proven; otherwise, it no longer qualifies as a postulate. The relativity of speed is not immediately obvious to everyone. Laypeople might struggle their entire lives to grasp that a corpse in a morgue can be considered in motion or that an airplane in the sky, even if not a helicopter, can be deemed at rest, so it is understandable and forgivable that a patent technician under thirty has not fully mastered the concept of relative velocity. Also, mistakes, even fatal sort ones like misconception of speed, are common in the history of science. Most errors are even necessary, serving as a vital part of the process through which science develops and progresses. However, another fatal mistake in the Relativity is too absurd to tolerance: the two postulates upon which Special Relativity is built directly contradict each other --- one declares that motion and rest are relative, while the other insists that a photon is absolutely in motion. According to the theory, every photon moves away from all other objects in the world at a single, constant speed. No advanced mathematics or logic is needed to recognize such apparent contradiction. The freakish embryo, created by Einstein combining two contradictory postulates, would inevitably grow into a deformed scientific monster, like Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. This freak, since its birth, has challenged basic human common sense, mocked the reasoning of intellectuals, and insulted the intelligence of physicists all over the world.A needless ado. It should end now. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from multiple locations in the US or from the UK, depending on stock availability.

Taschenbuch. Condición: Neu. Neuware - This book will dissect, one by one, the most important and best-known experiments claimed to confirm special relativity. Its central argument is that, as a self-contradictory theory, special relativity has not been-and cannot possibly be-verified by any physical experiment. On the contrary,…without exception, these experiments not only fail to support it but also refute it.A central myth about Relativity is that it is a great theory that overturned classical physics, as established by Sir Newton. The Autopsy of Special Relativity: From A Logical Point of view examines this claim. In logic, no discipline can overturn its own foundation. Special relativity is built on classical physics. If classical physics were wrong, then relativity could not be logically right. In its structure, special relativity looks like an inverted pyramid. A large amount of mathematics rests on two simple physical postulates: the principle of relativity and the constancy of the speed of light. It demonstrated that these two postulates are logically incompatible and in conflict with each other. A theory built on contradictory assumptions cannot be valid. A self-contradictory theory cannot be correct.A second myth, closely related to the first, is the wrong belief that relativity has been confirmed by very numerous experiments. As a continuation of The Autopsy of Special Relativity, this book aims to examine and eliminate this mistaken belief.
