This book aims to thoroughly dissect the above three basic elements of special relativity, with emphasis on the two basic postulates, which make special relativity a physics instead of math.One of the postulates of Special Relativity doesn't hold up because it says a certain object like photon has a fixed, absolute speed, but speed is always relative. Any object-an astronaut in a spaceship or a body in a morgue-can have different speeds depending on what you measure it against. For example, a photon's speed is usually about 300,000 kilometers per second, but it could be zero if you measure it relative to another photon moving alongside it. The postulate of the constancy of the speed of light is often said to be proven by numerous physical experiments, but this is a serious misconception. First, It is impossible that a claim that goes against basic logic can be proven by any physical experiment. Second, even if it were somehow "proven," it would still be a huge joke, as it contradicts the fundamental logic of the postulate.
