This item is printed on demand - it takes 3-4 days longer - Neuware -The samples were collected from the mountains of Malakand, KPK, and were grinded into smaller particles. The samples were extracted through the Soxhlet apparatus with different solvents to remove the soluble extractive and wax substances. The raw cellulose was treated in autoclave with alkaline substances for bond breaking. Most polar substances were removed through EDTA and hydrogen peroxide. Moreover, the samples were purified through acetic acid and nitric acid solution. The cellulose was neutralized by double distilled water until a neutral pH was obtained. The purified cellulose was characterized through different analytical techniques such as X-ray Diffraction (XRD) shows high crystallinity of 73%. FTIR shows the removal of different functional groups from the surface. TGA indicates that the cellulose obtained from different sources of wood showed that the loss of water takes place at 100 C, soluble extracted at 250 C, and lignin and hemicellulose at 350 C. SEM indicates that the surface morphology and shape are highly visible pores. The isolated cellulose has high crystallinity, thermal stability, and good mechanical properties. 100 pp. Englisch.…

Seventeen morphological traits were studied including ten vegetative and seven yield component traits. For drought ten root traits were studied in two pot experiments. It is concluded from the present study that three genotypes remain on average for desire yield components i.e KSK, Raskoh and Abdaghar 93. This morphological study distinctiveness recommended these three genotypes for high yield and our study also concluded that primary root length and shoot length is drought associated traits on bases of water difference in experiment one and two that genotype showed better efficiency in experiment 1:2. The traits which were found significant in experiment 1:2 all are recorded for genotype Local white it is recommended that Local white genotype can provide better efficiency in drought conditions.…

La celulosa cruda se trató en autoclave con sustancias alcalinas para romper los enlaces. La mayoría de las sustancias polares se eliminaron mediante EDTA y peróxido de hidrógeno. Además, las muestras se purificaron mediante una solución de ácido acético y ácido nítrico. La celulosa se neutralizó con agua bidestilada hasta obtener un pH neutro. La celulosa purificada se caracterizó mediante diferentes técnicas analíticas como la difracción de rayos X (XRD) que muestra una alta cristalinidad del 73%. El FTIR muestra la eliminación de diferentes grupos funcionales de la superficie. El TGA indica que la celulosa obtenida de diferentes fuentes de madera mostró que la pérdida de agua tiene lugar a 100¿C, la solubilidad extraída a 250¿C, y la lignina y la hemicelulosa a 350¿C. El SEM indica que la morfología y la forma de la superficie son poros muy visibles.
