There is some edge rubbing and light surface wear to the boards with a little staining near the bottom of the rear panel on volume I. The gilt lettering and decorations on the spine are fairly bright. Gilt to the top edges of the pages with some scattered dark stains to the top edges of volume II. Browning to the other page edges.
