The effect of magnetic field on oxidative stress (reduced glutathione and total lipid peroxide), hematological indices, total and differential leukocytic counts, cardiac functions (creatinine phsphokinase and lactate dehydrogenase), level of calcium ions concentrations and total proteins content, have been investigated in this work. The present book has been conducted on the effect of magnetic field for 7 days (2 hours/day) in the case of exposure. Blood samples were obtained from the rat's before and after 2,4,6,8,10,12, and 14 hours post-exposure to the magnetic field.Blood was used for the determination of hematological indices, total and differential leukocytic counts and reduced glutathione content (GSH). However, serum samples were used for the determination of the level of total lipid peroxide, activities of creatinine phosphokinase (CPK) and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), calcium ions concentration and total proteins content. The study was done on Sparague-Dawely male rats witch an average weight of 140-160 g.The exposure to Magnetic field was performed for 7 days 2 hours/day in the case of exposure. After exposure to magnetic field, rats were decapitated and blood samples were collected as well as the livers were removed. To obtain serum, the collected blood was incubated at 37 degree centigrade for one hour in clean dry test tubes, then centrifuged at 3000 rpm for 20 min. The near shore region is highly dynamic system when waves, currents, and bathymetry interact through a complex feed back mechanism in response to changing wave climates and sediment budgets The northern Egyptian coasts are subjected to many changes on shoreline balance due to waves and coastal currents. To protect and develop these coasts, many types of breakwaters have been constructed such as groins, seawalls, detached, submerged, and shore-connected breakwaters. The built-in CGWAVE model was used to simulate the wave propagation along Ras El-Bar beach, Egypt,due to the effect of different break waters. Detached breakwaters and interaction between different systems of the existing breakwaters provide higher values of wave energy dissipation.
