Paperback. Condición: new. Paperback. The objective of our study is to examine wheat varietal diversity in terms of production and adaptation. An inventory was therefore conducted in the Wilaya of Tlemcen to collect local and introduced varieties of durum wheat (Triticum durum) and soft wheat (Triticum aestivum) for morphological characterization. In this context, a collection of 16 wheat varieties from different regions within the Tlemcen Wilaya was studied using 9 quantitative agromorphological traits and 16 qualitative traits. Phenotypic diversity was determined using the Shannon-Weaver diversity index (H') at different levels (entire sample, by wheat type, and by variety name). The estimated H' values showed wide phenotypic variability for the various quantitative traits, with an average H' of 0.58 for durum wheat and 0.52 for soft wheat. For the qualitative traits, the diversity index was 0.05 for durum wheat and 0 for soft wheat. The results of the principal component analysis (PCA) and hierarchical classification (CAH) of the studied population showed a clear distinction between the different varieties. Para tal, foi realizado um inventario na provincia de Tlemcen com o intuito de recolher variedades locais e introduzidas de trigo duro (Triticum durum) e de trigo mole (Triticum aestivum), com vista a sua caracterizacao morfologica. Neste contexto, foi estudada uma colecao de 16 variedades de trigo provenientes de diferentes regioes da provincia de Tlemcen, utilizando 9 caracteristicas agromorfologicas quantitativas e 16 caracteristicas qualitativas. A diversidade fenotipica foi determinada pelo indice de diversidade de Shannon-Weaver (H') a diferentes niveis (totalidade da amostra, por tipologia de trigo e por nome varietal). Os valores estimados de H' revelaram uma ampla variabilidade fenotipica para as diferentes caracteristicas quantitativas, com um H' medio de 0,58 para o trigo duro e de 0,52 para o trigo mole. No que diz respeito as caracteristicas qualitativas, o indice de diversidade foi de 0,05 para o trigo duro e de 0 para o trigo mole. In diesem Zusammenhang wurde eine Sammlung von 16 Weizensorten aus verschiedenen Regionen der Wilaya Tlemcen anhand von 9 quantitativen agromorphologischen Merkmalen und 16 qualitativen Merkmalen untersucht. Die phaenotypische Vielfalt wurde anhand des Shannon-Weaver-Diversitaetsindex (H') auf verschiedenen Ebenen bestimmt (Gesamtheit der Stichprobe, nach Weizentypologie und nach Sortenbezeichnung). Die geschaetzten H'-Werte zeigten eine grosse phaenotypische Variabilitaet bei den verschiedenen quantitativen Merkmalen mit einem durchschnittlichen H' von 0,58 fuer Hartweizen und 0,52 fuer Weichweizen.
