(It was subsequently reprinted in 1981 by the Lincoln County Historical Society). It gives a detailed history of the C.D. Johnson Lumber Co., it's founders, and the men behind the operation; it's noted for the fact that the American military's need for spruce logs for wooden airplane construction in World War I, led to the industrial development in Lincoln County.…
