Paperback. Condición: new. Paperback. Know your motorcycle. Record what changed. Make the safer decision.THUMP 350 is a practical field manual for owners of retro-styled motorcycles in the broadly 300-400 cc class. It explains how to live with the character of a modern-classic single without assuming that every motorcycle shares the same equipment, specifications or procedures. Its manual-first method keeps the exact model-year owner's manual, motorcycle labels, official service information and applicable law in control. Instead of guessing at faults, the reader learns to establish a normal baseline, describe a symptom clearly, remove simple external variables, change only one safe variable at a time and know when to stop riding.Inside you will find practical guidance on: choosing a motorcycle and taking delivery;running-in and the first service period;sound, heat, vibration, clutch, gearbox and chain behaviour;fuel economy, lubrication, tyres, wheels, brakes and handling;batteries, starting, lighting and electrical accessories;luggage, navigation, service records, cleaning and storage;touring, riding equipment, security and roadside decisions; andsymptom-led troubleshooting and workshop communication.Field cards, inspection lists, job cards and ownership logs turn recurring real-world lessons into actions that can be repeated and recorded. Exact pressures, adjustments, fluids, intervals and procedures are always deferred to the official information for the particular motorcycle. For riders who value mechanical character, thoughtful maintenance and relaxed road travel, THUMP 350 is a companion for the garage, the service desk and the road ahead. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from multiple locations in the US or from the UK, depending on stock availability.…

Taschenbuch. Condición: Neu. This item is printed on demand - it takes 3-4 days longer - Neuware -The present investigation, involving nine Sorghum bicolor type cytoplasmic male sterile lines of three different cytoplasmic backgrounds viz. A1, A2 and A3 and five testers of Sorghum bicolor- Sorghum sudanense derivate, mated in line x tester design, was conducted at the GBPUA&T, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand (India), consecutively for two years during Kharif season of 2009-10 and 2010-11, to know the extent of variability, heterosis and combining ability for various characters of yield and quality. Two best crosses identified for yield were MR 750 A2 x Pusa Chari 23 and A3N 193 x UPMC 503. The lines A3N 213, A3N 193, and MR 750 A2 were found to be good general combiners for fodder yield and quality traits. To compare the effect separately for each cytoplasm (A1, A2 & A3) on per se performance, heterosis and combining ability, data was also analysed in three factor split-split plot design. Several good crosses involving non milo cytoplasm based lines, highlighted the worthiness of use of non milo cytoplasm for hybrid development in forage sorghum. SDS-PAGE analysis was also performed for the 14 parental lines which generated distinct protein profiles for all of the lines. 292 pp. Englisch.…
