Very good plus in finely woven black cloth stamped brightly in gilt on the spine. Clean and tight throughout. With a touch of fraying to the top edges of the spine and light rubbing to the corners. In the scarce tan dustjacket printed in red. The jacket is chipped with various pieces missing at the top and bottom of the spine and at the corners. There's a 1" closed tear along the spine at the bottom of the rear panel and a 2" separation along the spine at the center edge.The front panel is mottled and the front inside flap has been clipped.
