Stammzellen aus dem Knochenmark (KMSZ) kà nnen sich unter anderem auch in Muskelzellen differenzieren mit dessen Hilfe man die Muskeln der Harnrà hre wieder regenerieren kà nnte. Das Werk in englischer Sprache beschreibt und diskutiert anhand eines Tiermodells, wie man menschliche KMSZ isolieren, kultivieren, markieren und transplantieren kann und dass sie längere Zeit in artfremdem Gewebe (in Ratten) überleben kà nnen. Die Gewebe wurden zu verschiedenen Zeitpunkten anhand von Immunfärbungen und neuster Mikroskopier Techniken (3D Imaging) untersucht.
