This work lies within the field of sociolinguistics and brings a small reflexion on the functioning and the characteristics of the use of code switching especially to understand much better why this strategy is used. We assume that the (French / Algerian Arabic), (Algerian Arabic / French) strategy, used by the mass media such as newspapers, and television in particular, has a huge influence on the public. And consequently it attracts as much people as it can because it facilitates undestanding and helps in the fluidity of speech.…
