Añadir al carritoPaperback. Condición: New. Print on Demand. This book is a collection of humorous scenes from a fictitious meeting of Convocation, the governing body of the Church of England. The author satirizes the Anglican Church's theological disputes, particularly those over the existence of God, the nature of the sacraments, and the authority of the Church. The author argues that Anglicanism's emphasis on individualism and private judgment has led to a lack of doctrinal clarity and a loss of faith in the Church's authority. This book provides a witty and insightful commentary on the state of Christianity in the 19th century and remains relevant to debates within the Church of England today. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.
