Contributing essays by William Flatmo, Director of the Christen Sveaas Art Foundation, Lydia Yee, and art historian MaryAnne Stevens, give insight to the history of the collection, the curatorial view, and a historical depth to the seasonal painting in Norwegian art, respectively.
