However, studies on its regeneration, the factors that affect its regeneration and its contribution are limited in Nepal. The study was carried out to determine the community structure and regeneration pattern of Q. leucotrichophora forest, to identify environmental factors that affect regeneration of Q. leucotrichophora and to examine the variability of community forest income and dependence on community forest resources among the various socio-economic groups of the user households. Random sampling with 0.7 percent sampling intensity was taken to analyze vegetation of the forest. A quadrat size of 10mx10m was plotted at respective point for tree study and within 5mx5m plots for shrubs and herbs analysis.
