It explores the utility of GAP detection test in Cochlear Implant Recipients.The work shows that there is frequency specific difference in responses of individuals with Cochlear Implants.This marked difference at low frequency is observed because the auditory filter seems to play a role in determining the form of the results for the standard-and reversed phase conditions, Gap thresholds estimated from the preserved-phase condition do not show a strong effect of center frequency, except at very low frequency (200 Hz below).
