Though in g- eral non-terminating, theorem provers sometimes act as decision procedures on subclasses ofrs t-order logic. Another devel- mentistheextension ofdeductiontechniquesfromclassicallogictomany-valued and modal logics. By suitably generalizing classical concepts many results carry over to non-classical logics.
