Mit den schwungvollen Blättermotiven auf dunkelrotem Hintergrund…ist unser Einband Gold eine Hommage an das zierliche Handwerk der Goldprägung, das ursprünglich über die florierenden Handelsrouten des Orients nach Europa gekommen war.Als wir vor langer Zeit begannen, Paperblanks-Notizbücher zu entwerfen, fanden wir eine Handschrift von William Shakespeare und wussten sofort, dass sie uns als Inspiration für einen Notizbucheinband dienen würde. Bald kamen weitere Manuskripte wie die von Ernest Hemingway und Jane Austen hinzu, sodass wir unsere Kollektion Faszinierende Handschriften ins Leben rufen konnten. Die ersten Einbände dieser Serie zeigten ein minimalistisches Design mit den Handschriften in schwarzer Tinte auf einem Hintergrund in beige. Schließlich überwältigten uns dann unsere kreativen Impulse und wir begannen, herumzuspielen, indem wir einen Goldrahmen hinzufügten. Auf der Grundlage einer Fotografie von einer winzigen, fantastischen Goldverzierung schuf unser künstlerischer Leiter einen vollständigen Rahmen für das Shakespeare-Manuskript und fügte auch noch einen orangefarbenen Hintergrund dazu. Und damit war unsere Neugier natürlich noch lange nicht am Ende! Als wir die Handschrift wieder entfernten, wurde uns unmittelbar klar, dass wir eine Reproduktion eines klassischen Ledereinbands der Renaissance kreieren könnten. Und so entstand der Grundstein für unsere Faux-Leder-Kollektion.Heutzutage sind der Experimentierfreudigkeit mit Rahmenformen und Hintergrundfarben keine Grenzen mehr gesetzt, aber das ursprüngliche Muster mit Beige und Schwarz dient uns noch immer als Rückgrat für zwei unserer ältesten und beliebtesten Kollektionen.; Hardcover; magnetischer Klappumschlag; 120 g/qm; Falt-Innentasche; Fadenheftung.
