Completely aromatic Schiff bases have interesting properties like semiconduction and others. These kinds of Schiff bases are becoming excellent candidates as active materials for solar cells, light-emitting diodes (LEDs), organic field-effect transistors (OFETs) devices and organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs), photovoltaic cells and pH sensors, due to their electro chromic properties, among other applications. Present books deals with the literature survey along with single crystal growth of four Schiff base crystal molecules as well as its detail structural, optical characterizations. The NLO behaviour via Z- scan study summarized in the book. Theoretically using DFT compared with experimental results and its analysis discussed in detailed. 168 pp. Englisch.
