ÉDITION ORIGINALE de cette RARE PUBLICATION constituée de 12 EAUX-FORTES du peintre, dessinateur, graveur et lithographe français Louis Joseph TRIMOLET (1812-1843). Il s'agit d'un keepsake comique pour chacun des mois de l'année 1842 ; un autre "Comic-Almanach" sera composé par Trimolet en 1843, l'année de sa mort. Le destin tragique de Trimolet est typique de celui de « l'artiste maudit » : il meurt à 31 ans de phtisie, quelques mois après sa jeune épouse, après une vie de misère et de privations.
