The paper wrapper has very minor shelf wear along the foot but is otherwise pristine. The dustjacket (photographic paper) also has minor shelf wear along the foot, and slight rubbing. Old price sticker on the back of the dustjacket. A very handsome book in fine condition with a very good dustjacket.

Softcover. Condición: Used. Otto Treumann (1919-2001) was a major pioneer in the modernization of graphic design in the Netherlands. Inspired by Swiss typography and Bauhaus aesthetics, Treumann's body of work combines easy-to-read visual elements with iconoclastic color treatment, enhanced by his wide knowledge of printing techniques acquired during the Second World War when he forged documents for the resistance. Based on materials from the Otto Treumann Archive at the Stedelijk Museum and designed by Irma Boom, this volume surveys Treumann's career. It's a good read and it's loaded with pics. A book to keep close by at all times. No joke. Near fine and living in protective mylar 454.

A letter from Fuller to Brattinga which explains the latter's working methods is reproduced in English and translated into French and Dutch. One additional sheet explaining the Kwadraat-Bladen project as well as introducing the architect and mathematician is laid in. VG.
