It is named after W B Yeats to indicate the belief that poetry and other art-forms are integral to human existence, rather than the province of self-perpetuating elites" (from the Introduction). This was the only stand-alone number before subsequent issues were absorbed into the club's just-announced annual journal, Celtic Dawn (Miller & Price E158, E910). The club also organized various poetry competitions, the poems of winners of which are included here. Laid in is an entry form for the 4th Open Poetry Competition and an order form for Celtic Dawn.
