Hence, cities are at risk and face added environmental threats like loss of greenery, water bodies, open spaces, and lack of infrastructure. As a result, cities are unable to provide better living conditions to its citizens. Hence, there is a need to modify city planning and design guidelines to make the cities better as per changing trends and requirements. Then only cities can provide a better, healthier, and more comfortable living environment. Citizens should enjoy their place of living and work; only then will productivity increases. The book explores how any city can be designed in a better way to make it smarter and eco-friendly.
