These tribes asserted themselves in the historical events of the 'Great Migration of Nations'. Among the proto-Turkic unions who created states, Huns, Usuns and Kangüks played a significant role in the history of Kazakhstan.The presented work briefly describes the history of the most ancient tribe of Huns (Huns), which for five centuries (204 BC - 216 AD) dominated in the steppe, their complicated relations with China and neighboring nomads are discussed.
