Festgehalten werden diese Informationen in Dokumenten. Solche Dokumente zu verwalten, ist Aufgabe der Software-Verwaltung. Die Software-Verwaltung muss die Inhalte von Projektdokumenten aufnehmen und die wichtigsten Merkmale dieser Dokumente kennen. Für die Software-Verwaltung sind Merkmale wie Name, Erstellungsdatum und Autor eines Dokuments interessant. Bedingt durch die riesige Zahl von Projektinformationen kann die Software-Verwaltung nicht alle in einem Projekt entstehenden Informationen sammeln. Die Software-Verwaltung muss also zwischen wichtigen und unwichtigen Informationen unterscheiden. Hierfür werden in der vorliegenden Arbeit Modelle verwendet. Ein Model gibt an, welche Informationen die Software-Verwaltung aufnehmen soll. Die vorliegende Arbeit definiert für diesen Zweck eine Modellnotation und zeigt verschiedene Modelle, mit denen alle für die Software-Verwaltung wichtigen Informationen eines Software-Projekts erfasst werden kà nnen. Diese Modelle beschreiben nicht nur Projektergebnisse (=Dokumente), sondern geben auch Auskunft über die Abläufe eines Software-Projekts. Diese Kombination von Zustandsinformationen und Ablaufinformationen erlaubt, ein Software-Projekt nachvollziehbar festzuhalten. Die bisherigen Arbeiten im Bereich Software-Verwaltung beschäftigen sich fast ausschlieÃlich mit der Beschreibung von Zustandsinformationen. Durch die in der vorliegenden Arbeit vorgestellte Modellnotation kà nnen Dokumente und Prozesse projektspezifisch beschrieben werde. Die verwendete Modellnotation ermà glicht neben der Beschreibung struktureller Informationen auch die präzise Formulierung von Randbedingungen.
