Bertold Brechts plakativ getauftes 'Solidaritätslied', das er als Höhepunkt für den proletarischen Film 'Kuhle Wampe oder: Wem gehört die Welt ' verfasste, gilt daher als eindringliches Zeugnis sozialistischen Denkens in einer Zeit des Klassenkampfes und der Widerstände, das diese Essenz in wenigen Versen einzufangen versucht.Sechszehn Jahre später im Jahr 1947 veröffentliche Brecht das 'Solidaritätslied' unter gleichem Namen erneut.
