We need to get back to trying to understand God's works, not only being sentimental about them. The Apostle Paul, who was 'all things to all men,' used simplicity in Corinth, but his whole record shows plenty of deep logic. It is not unspiritual to apply logic to divine subjects; logic also has a place in morality for this life. Despite the dumbing-down of today's popular culture, there still are Athenians to be reached for Jesus.
