Paperback. Condición: New. Neue Sachlichkeit is thought by many to have too many diverse elements to be a unified movement. Originally divided by G.F. Hartlaub into two 'wings', Neue Sachlichkeit has since been broken down by critics into more groups, sometimes with opposing styles or regional influences. However, the importance of these divisions has rarely been explored in depth. Unlike previous surveys, which accept Neue Sachlichkeit as a divided entity, this book shows for the first time that in spite of its divisions, it may still be regarded as a unified, coherent movement. An excellent book on chub and chub fishing compiled of articles by a great many Chub Study Group members past and present. The standard edition was limited to only 700 copies, the book sold out fast and has already become quite a collector's item. This is a copy of the de luxe leather-bound edition that was limited to only 50 numbered copies. All copies were sold prior to publication and now very rarely come up for sale, even less often in a multi-signed condition. An excellent copy for the coarse angling collector. "The Chub Study Group was initially named the 'National Chub Specimen Group' in the sixties with origins in the East Midlands. The Group was reformed and renamed in 1972 by founder Tony Carter. Famous former presidents of the Group were initially, Dick Walker and then Peter Stone. The third president, Charles Landells, was a member of the original National Chub Specimen Group. The CSG is still the only specialist chub angling group in the UK. There are regular well-attended get-togethers on the rivers around the UK. Members record and report details of all chub captures over 4lb. At the end of 2009 the CSG has a unique record of the details of over 15,000 chub. Their experiences, articles, records and views are all recorded in the Group's magazine called 'Chevin'. In 1994 the Group's first book 'Chub' was compiled by the Group's Vice-president Graham Cornish. This included many of the best articles written by the CSG members. Sixteen years later, in 2010, it is time for the CSG to compile its second book." .…
