The book contains f…acsimile reproductions of the Papal Bulls of Donation, from 1493, granting territorial rights in the New World to the Spanish and Portuguese Empires, and the Treaty of Tordesillas. The contents include 130 plates reproduced in photogravure containing the original manuscripts, later copies and an extensive section of early 16th century maps pertaining to exploration of the Americas. The work contains 16 maps including the Cantino Map (1502), The Pilestrina Map (1503), The Munich-Portuguese Map (1519), The Robert Thorne Map (1527) and the Castiglioni Map of Ribero type (ca 1529). The book includes introductory text, explanatory notes and historical analysis from Paul Gottchalk. There are 14 pages of bibliographic notes at the back of the book. Binding with some bumping and rubbing to extremities, and some light smudging to the cloth. Spotting to the edges of the book block. Interior with minor sporadic foxing to the edges of some pages. All text and images unaffected. Binding in very good-, interior in very good condition overall.

Er widmet sich hierbei auch den Besonderheiten, die eine Ein-Personen-GmbH an die schenkungsteuerliche Behandlung stellt.Schwerpunkt der Arbeit sind die schenkungsteuerlichen Folgen von leistungsbedingten Vermögensverschiebungen auf Gesellschafterebene. Der Autor unterscheidet hierbei streng zwischen Leistungen, die (mittelbar) zwischen den Gesellschaftern zur Übertragung von Vermögenssubstanz führen und bloßen Beteiligungswerterhöhungen. Als substantielle Vermögensverschiebungen untersucht der Autor unter anderem die Einziehung einer Beteiligung, da die Mitgliedschaft hier ihrem gesamten Inhalt nach bei den Mitgesellschaftern ankommt, und die kapitalquotenverändernde Kapitalerhöhung, die zu einer Substanz- und Wertabspaltung auf Gesellschafterebene führt. Unter dem Komplex der bloßen Beteiligungswerterhöhungen prüft der Verfasser die im wissenschaftlichen Schrifttum unter dem Stichwort »disquotale Leistungen« diskutierten Fälle, z. B. einseitige verdeckte Einlagen oder die Kapitalerhöhung gegen zu hohes Aufgeld.Der Verfasser widmet sich dem Thema auch auf der subjektiven Seite. Hierbei zeigt sich, daß die derzeitige Auslegung des subjektiven Zuwendungstatbestands durch die Rechtsprechung des Bundesfinanzhofs nicht überzeugend ist.; Dissertationsschrift.
