It concludes that it is imperative to sustain cultures like Bekwarra through these aspects of culture, which involves constant/sustained interest in, teaching and learning cum transmission of these invaluable aspects of culture across generations. They should be constantly preserved, and taught both at home and school.

The press, especially their leaders, having been influenced negatively by the macrocosmic institutionalised corruption and bad leadership of the political elite and their like, are becoming deeply immense in these nefarious misdeeds and unethical and subjective journalism. Consequently, the masses have lost confidence in them, and receive media contents with outright contempt and dissatisfaction.This paper thus calls for a change on the part of the press and the government, for which the masses would follow suit. Although the paper relies more on the secondary sources, the library print materials, controlled interview, observation and intuition of the primary sources of data collation were also involved. It is approached qualitatively, descriptively and objectively with the text-content analysis too.

Druck auf Anfrage Neuware - Printed after ordering - Scientific Essay from the year 2017 in the subject Leadership and Human Resource Management - Miscellaneous, grade: A.1, , language: English, abstract: Poor organisational and institutional cum administrative performance and productivity in Nigeria… and most developing nations are the manifesting implications of low staff training therein.This study scholarly explores staff (re)training as a tool for administrative efficiency and productivity, highlighting the implications of poor/inconsequential staff training.The study reveals that while staff (re)training is almost absent- very low- in Nigerian public sector, the private sector has lowly appreciable performance in it, though only but a few, particularly the multi-national firms alone, do so.In public institutions, the supposed funds for staff (re)training are diverted by top management officials for personal aggrandisement, besides the low budget for it. Most private firms economise their funds, if they bid staff training, focusing more on profit maximisation and most often over load their staffs, even with duties outside their professional knowledge and competence. Consequently, there are extreme poor staff performance, administrative lapses and low organisational productivity.The paper submits that (effective) staff (re)training is an invaluable tool for administrative efficiency both in Nigeria and other parts of the globe, as obtains elsewhere and proven by the findings of this study. It recommends that both public and private firms/institutions in Nigeria should take staff training and retraining very serious in their administrative policies so as to appropriately tap from its huge potentials. It was done using survey method, qualitative approach, simple percentage, content-analysis, non/participant observation and relevant library textual materials, following its nature, scope and pursuit.

It is high time the people, especially the youths, began projecting, promoting and developing Bekwarra culture, economy, politics and other embodiments through ICT, towards digitalising and globalising Bekwarra.The study submits that Bekwarra people, culture, language and panorama can best be projected, promoted and developed through ICT. The task is for those who are computer literate among them to effectively utilise and harness their acquired knowledge in this area, teach others and bring every bit about Bekwarra to limelight through ICT cum social media. This gesture will catapult Bekwarra to the apex of all-round development, situating her rightly in the global village to share equal/some place with other cultures that have attained such height. To effect and realise the desired change, re-orientation, sensitisation, mass literacy and attitudinal change are the first requisites, followed by effective utilisation of ICT. This task lies more with the Bekwarra youths, elite, technicians/technologists (ICT professionals) and government, while the non-Bekwarra people and Cross River State and Federal governments with such capacities and resources owe her worthwhile supports.
