Findings emerged from present study revealed that the cropping intensity was observed to be of 124 percent. In Bastar district area, production and productivity of paddy showing negative growth rate, Bastar plateau zone also shows significant negative growth. The average cost of cultivation of paddy was 30654.8 Rs/ha and for maize is 25792.77 Rs/ha. The value of net income per hectare came to 11885.1 Rs/ha. in paddy and 16742.03 Rs/ha. in maize. Para el estudio se entrevistó a diez aldeas de cada bloque y a diez agricultores productores de cereales de… cada aldea. Los datos primarios fueron recogidos de los principales productores de cereales a través de entrevistas personales por el método de encuesta con la ayuda de bien preparar calendario y cuestionario para la producción y comercialización año 2014-15. La tasa de crecimiento de la superficie, la producción y la productividad de Chhattisgarh, la meseta de Bastar y el distrito de Bastar se calcula mediante el uso de análisis exponencial. Los resultados del presente estudio revelaron que la intensidad de cultivo se observó que era de 124 por ciento. En la zona del distrito de Bastar, la producción y la productividad del arroz muestran una tasa de crecimiento negativa, la zona de la meseta de Bastar también muestra un crecimiento negativo significativo. El coste medio de cultivo del arroz fue de 30654,8 Rs/ha y para el maíz es de 25792,77 Rs/ha. El valor de los ingresos netos por hectárea ascendió a 11885,1 Rs/ha. en el arroz y a 16742,03 Rs/ha. en el maíz. La renta bruta de las explotaciones por producto principal y por producto en conjunto fue de 42539,9 Rs/ha. en arroz y de 42534,8 Rs/ha. en maíz.
