Foxing and toning to text block edges. Scattered light foxing to interior leaves with a few creased/bumped page corners and edge-nicks. Binding is firm. Scarce novel by noted Mississippi author, attorney, and judge Harris Dickson who was born in Yazoo City in 1868 but resided in Vicksburg for his adult life and served as a correspondent for Collier's Magazine during World War I and as a technical advisor to the Work Projects Administration in Mississippi during the 1930s.
