Nesse grupo inclui-se a relação de trabalho e, com maior intensidade, a relação jurídica empregatícia. Seja em razão do extrapolamento dos limites do poder diretivo patronal, seja em razão de condutas indevidas por parte dos trabalhadores ou de outros stakeholders, o fato é que há de se garantir a proteção aos direitos da personalidade inclusive e principalmente no âmbito das relações laborais. Em tempos nos quais o tema ainda experimentava desenvolvimento, o dano moral nas relações de trabalho já havia sido mapeado pelo Desembargador Valdir Florindo, do Tribunal Regional do Trabalho da 2ª Região, quando ainda exercia a nobre profissão da advocacia. Sua obra (Dano Moral e o Direito do Trabalho, editada pela LTr em 1996) é considerada como um dos marcos do estudo e do desenvolvimento do tema nos domínios do Direito do Trabalho brasileiro.
