Probably the simplest case to start with 2 + is the space E = of all complex-valued sequences u=(u ) for which m m= 2 |u | is summable over m Z. m Theclassofoperatorsweareinterestedinconsistsofthoseboundedandlinear operatorsonE whichcanbeapproximatedintheoperatornormbybandmatrices.
