In the past, many researchers exploited traditional and artificial methods but the limitations of different methods prevented to achieve optimal level of process design variables for multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) injection moulding process. To bridge the gap, this study aims to develop a computer integrated optimisation system (CIOS). In this research, virtual reality (VR) technology is employed, in the first phase, for simulation purpose and combination of design of experiments (DOE) and SAPSO-based ANN method is used for optimising the simulation results in order to achieve global optimal solution for the control parameters. Apparently, the proposed approach is a new integration system that can help the users determine optimal parameter settings to accomplish the MIMO injection moulding process with competitive benefits of cost and production efficiency.…

In the research, rearing of the host, Corcyra cephalonica were studied for the Trichogramma sp. The oviposition rate of C. cephalonica throughout the life time is 63.7±10.4 eggs per female and the highest oviposition rate per female is 26.7±1.5 eggs at the second days.Three types of eggs parasitoids; Trichogramma sp., Telenomous sp. and Tetrastichus sp. were observed.The parasitization percent of Trichogramma sp. on eggs of C. cephalonica is 27% and emergence percent is 100% at the laboratory condition of 25±5ºC, 70±5 % RH. The total life duration peroids of Trichogramma sp. is 10.3±0.77 days. In rearing of Trichogramma sp., the resulting new generations were provided with the newly emerged eggs of C. cephalonica for the next generation. Therefore the eggs of C. cephalonica can be used for the rearing of Trichogramma sp. isolate from the parasitize egg of rice stem borer for the biological control.Rice stem borer is one of the most destructive pests in Myanmar.
