Walker McSpadden reconfigures the stories of Dickens by focussing on solely one their protagonists, including David Copperfield, Oliver Twist, and Pip. Stories from Scottish history offers selected stories from Walter Scott's Tales of a Grandfather, whilst Britain Long ago retells Celtic folktales and Women of the classics puts the spotlight on classical characters such as Helen, Circe, Calypso and Nausicaa Reprints dated between 1926 and 1930, in decorative bindings.
