Añadir al carritoTaschenbuch. Condición: Neu. Druck auf Anfrage Neuware - Printed after ordering - The topic of this book, the commercialization of public-sector technology, continues to grow in importance in the United States and sirnilarsocieties. The issues involved are relevant to many roles including those of policy makers, managers, patent attorneys, licensing agents, and technical staff members of public technology sources. Institutions increasingly involved in the process include federal and other governmentallaboratories and their related agencies, public universities and their state governments, public and private transfer agents and, of course, all the private recipients of public technology. Scarcely a day goes by without a significant event related to technology transfer and commercialization. The popular business press is regularly carrying articles addressing the issues, explaining new initiatives and describing events of notable success or failure.[l] As an example of current important events, the Technology Reinvestment Project (TRP) is forrnu lating its initiatives totransfer public technology and promote technology-based publiclprivate partnerships as a collaboration between the Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA), the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), the National Science Foundation (NSF) the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), and the Department of Energy, Defense Programs (DOE/DP).

Condición: Neu. nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - Dr. Daniel Kassicieh's decades of clinical research and work with treating patients has proven time and again that there are many often-ignored factors that can cause back and neck pain, and that you can become pain free without narcotics or surgery.Back pain is not something that must be simply tolerated, nor is it going to be relieved from all of the unnecessary surgeries many patients endure as a result of listening to misleading medical advice.Unfortunately, most people do not realize that they have a choice when they are suffering with terrible neck or back pain. They are told that surgery is their only option, even when it is has no possibility of relieving their pain. But you DO have a choice. In Back Smart: Free Yourself from Back and Neck Pain, Enjoy a Higher Quality of Life without Narcotics or Surgery, Dr. Kassicieh uses true stories, brilliant illustrations, and case studies that will help you understand your pain problems, the source of your pain, and your conservative treatment options. The sound, medical findings (and his extensive bibliography) give readers confidence that all is not lost, no matter how many failed efforts they have tried in desperation to function without back and neck pain. Back Smart shows how, for the majority (97%) of patients suffering with neck and back pain - surgery is not and will never be the answer.
