Boylece bir yandan yerlesmeler yerin kosullarina ozgu¨ cozu¨mlerle yapilmis, bir yandan da gelenekten ogrenilen insa teknikleri yapi ustalari araciligiyla kusaktan kusaga aktarilmistir. Tu¨rkiye genelinde bolgelerarasi farkliliklari da icerecek sekilde, geleneksel konutlarin mimari ve teknik ozellikleri u¨zerine yapilmis pek cok calisma mevcuttur. Ancak bu yapilarin insa su¨recinin parcasi olan, uzun yillar icinde olusmus, gelenek icinde yaparak/insa yoluyla ogrenilen ve yapi ustalari eliyle aktarilan teknik bilgi u¨zerine yapilmis calismalar son derece kisitlidir. Bu arastirmayla amacimiz, Osmanli konut geleneginin bir parcasi olan, Ankara ve yakinindaki yerlesimlerde yer alan tarihi konutlarin insa tekniklerini eski ustalardan gorerek ogrenmis ve bunu yasami boyunca ya da yasaminin bir doneminde uygulamis geleneksel yapi ustalarinin bilgi, beceri ve davranislarini belgeleyerek, bu bilgiyi yerel insa teknikleriyle birlikte tanimlamaktir. Bu amacla oncelikle Ankara cevresinde yer alan geleneksel ozelliklerini koruyan yerlesimlerde bu gelenegi su¨rdu¨ren eski yapi ustalarina ulasilmaya calisilmistir. Bes ana bolu¨mden olusan calismanin birinci bolu¨mu¨nde, Ankara ve cevresinde geleneksel konutlara ve yapi ustalarina iliskin bilginin baglamini aktarmak u¨zere, Osmanli konutunun ozelliklerinden yola cikilarak "Ankara konutu" ve nitelikleri tanimlanmis; alanyazindaki arastirmalara dayanarak, Osmanli'dan bu yana tarihsel bir perspektif icinde konut u¨reten yapi ustalari hakkinda bilinenler aktarilmistir. Sonraki dort bolu¨mde, tanimlanan genel cerceveye gore Ankara'nin yakin cevresinden secilen Sivrihisar, Beypazari, Polatli ilcesi Sarioba koyu¨ ve Kazan ilcesi Fethiye koyu¨ yerlesimlerinde ulasilan bir yapi ustasi ve incelenen bir yapi u¨zerinden yerel mimari konut ku¨ltu¨ru¨ ile geleneksel konutun ozellikleri tanimlanmistir.
