An appropriate disposal must conform to both complex, technical requirements and fulfill the radio-biological conditions to appropriately protect man and nature. Ethical, legal and social conditions must also be considered. An interdisciplinary team from various, relevant fields compiled the current status-quo and developed criteria and strategies, which on the one hand meet the requirements of optimal warning and prevention of risk for present and future generations, and additionally on the other hand meet the needs of what current society agrees what is expected to be allowed. This study can be understood as an advanced and continuing contribution to the corresponding scientific specialized debates, due to its interdisciplinary treatment. At the same time it serves as a fundamentally informing contribution to public and political debates, offering an easily comprehensible executive summary and precise content recommendations.

Der ehemalige Sitz ist heute abgekommen und nicht mehr näher lokalisierbar. Vor 1500 werden Hans und Walpurga Tieminger nach Haindorf zubenannt, 1501 deren Töchter Helena, Margarete und Ursu…la mit dem festen Sitz in Haindorf belehnt. Helena sendet ihren Anteil spätestens 1513 nach der Heirat mit Wolfgang Heidelberger auf. Schon 1511 wird Georg Grimming nach Haindorf zubenannt. 1604 wird Hans Georg von Kollonitsch nach Burgschleinitz, Haindorf und Jedenspeigen zubenannt.

Bis in das frühe 14. Jahrhundert ist diese Familie im Besitz der Burg. 1405 gelangt Dobra an die Liechtensteiner. 1559 ist sie im Besitz des Grafen Ulrich von… Hardegg, der sie 1593 an Erasmus Braun von Pielachhaag verkauft. Die Burg übersteht 1645 eine Belagerung durch schwedische Truppen und wird 1672 von Vischer als intakter Bau gezeichnet. Die heutige Ruine ist seit 1958 im Besitz der Windhag'schen Stipendienstiftung für Niederösterreich.

Um 1400 werden Kaspar und Bernhard von Waldreichs als Lehensträger genannt. Nach der Zerstörung durch ein ständisches Exekutionsheer 1446-1448 wurde es um 1450 unter Hans Harrasse…r als Festung wiederaufgebaut. 1530-1534 erfolgte der Umbau zum Wasserschloss unter Eustach Stodoligk. Nach der Eroberung und Plünderung durch kaiserliche Truppen wurde die Anlage erneut wiederaufgebaut und wechselte danach häufig ihre Besitzer. Als sie 1815 an Heinrich von Pereira-Arnstein gegangen war, wurde sie mit der Herrschaft Wetzlas vereinigt. Es ist heute Sitz des zur Stiftung gehörenden Forstamtes Ottenstein und beherbergt außerdem das NÖ Falknerei- und Greifvogelzentrum mit seinem Eulenpark.

Eine Stiftung an das Kloster Zwettl ist für 1141 erwähnt. Die Errichtung der Burg soll auf Heinrich II. Jasomirgott zurückgehen. 1168 wird ein Prunricus de Crumbenow als Burggraf erwähnt. Krumau w…ar wegen des Flussüberganges für den Herzog strategisch wichtig und wurde zum Zentrum des babenbergischen Eigenbesitzes im mittleren Waldviertel. 1667/68 kam es zu einem großzügigen Ausbau des Schlosses. Nach mehreren Besitzübertragungen wurde die Halbruine der Gemeinde Krumau verpachtet.

Raan wurde erstmals 1391 als Ran genannt. Im 15. Jahrhundert dürfte in Raan ein Gutshof bestanden haben, der um 1580 von den Herren von Puchberg in eine schlossartige Anlag…e mit Wirtschaftsgebäuden umgewandelt wurde. 1622 erwarb Vinzenz Muschinger, der auch Besitzer der Herrschaften Horn und Rosenburg war, Ort und Schloss Raan. 1681 gelangte Raan an die Familie Hoyos-Sprinzenstein, die die erhaltenen Reste des Schlosses noch heute besitzt und als Forsthaus nutzt.

Abgezogen von der Original-Kupferplatte der Ausgabe 1680.- Burgruine Schonenburg (Schönberg) wurde unter dem Habsburger Albrecht III. wiederholt eingenommen, blieb aber im Besitz der Schönberger bis zu deren Aussterben 1387. Die Habsburger belehnten Leopold von Eckartsau, danach wechselten die Be…sitzverhältnisse wiederholt. Ab 1635 war sie Besitz des Hofkanzlers Johann Baptist Verda von Verdenberg, dem damaligen Besitzer von Grafenegg, der die Gebäude instand setzen ließ. Die Burg Schönberg wurde 1645 von den Schweden teilweise zerstört und danach nicht mehr aufgebaut. Am Vischer-Stich von 1672 ist ihre Struktur aber noch deutlich zu erkennen. Endgültig vernichtet wurde die Anlage ab 1778, als die Bewohner der Umgebung die Gebäude abtrugen, um Baumaterial für ihre Häuser zu gewinnen.
