Paperback. Condición: New. Print on Demand. This book delves into a compelling collection of war ballads and broadsides, offering a captivating glimpse into the sentiments, experiences, and impact of various wars that shaped the 18th and 19th centuries. These ballads provide a unique window into the lives and perspectives of ordinary people during extraordinary times. From expressions of patriotism and support for military campaigns to laments for fallen heroes and critiques of war's horrors, this collection reflects the complexities and contradictions of human emotions amidst conflict.
