House is in its original slipcase, cloth-covered and illustrated. The slipcase is a little rubbed and marked, unevenly faded. J B Dancer (1812-1887) is often credited with inventing microphotographic slides, which use a camera and a reversed microscope to reduce the size of an image. In fact he may not have been the first but he was certainly the master.

They are dated June 30, 1948 and March 24, 1949. Also there's a two-page typescript "Profile" of McCormick and a newspaper clipping of a review of this book.
