[.] 'Die mailändischen Feldzüge der Schweizer' [.] behandelt ein Thema zum ersten und einzigen Male im Zusammenhang, welches nun allerdings einer auf höherem wissenschaftlichem Standpunkte geschehenden Neubearbeitung würdig wäre." Jahrhundert Einfluss jenseits des Gotthardpasses zu sichern vermochten. [.] Neben den unmittelbaren Gegenspielern, den alpinen Kommunen und dem Herzogtum Mailand, waren vorab der deutsche König [Rupprecht, Sigmund], der Herzog von Savoyen und die Herren von Sax-Misox an den südlichen Passausgängen interessiert."
